Previous and Ongoing Projects |
Over the last several years, Dorise and Frank financed the building of several classrooms as well as a community room for the Asibuyeni Primary School near the Tembe Elephant Park in the province of Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Afirca (near the Mozambique border). It was with great joy that the family was invited for the opening of two classrooms in 2004. To make the occasion even more special for all the young students, each child received a stuffed animal or toy (donated by numerous patients in Kleve, Germany).
Other aid involves bringing donations of clothes, toys, and school supplies as well as urgently needed medical supplies to South Africa and distributing these items in local nurseries, schools, orphanages, and hospitals. It is amazing how much joy a stuffed Teddy bear can bring an abandoned child or how much protection a pair of sterile gloves can afford medical staff.
